How to Use Shazam With Spotify?

Shazam is an app which identify the music playing around you, like on the radio, in a store, or anywhere else you hear a song.  Shazam saves songs you’ve identified, which you can preview to discover new music. After you identify a song, you can connect to Spotify, Apple Music and other music services to listen to your Shazam.

How to Identify songs with Shazam?

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Shazam app on your device.
  2. Tap the Shazam button to identify what’s playing around you.
  3. Songs you’ve identified are saved to My Music in the Shazam app.
  4. After you identify a song, tap the play button next to a Shazam to listen to a preview. If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can listen to whole songs in Shazam.

On Android 

  1. Open the Shazam app on your device, then tap the Shazam button.
  2. Touch and hold the Shazam app in the app drawer, then tap Shazam Now.
  3. When Shazam identifies the song, it’s saved to your Shazam Library.

How to connect Shazam to your Spotify?

  1. On iPhone or iPad, swipe up to My Music from the main Shazam screen. On Android, swipe left to the Library from the main Shazam screen.
  2. Tap the Settings button , then tap Connect next to Spotify.
  3. Tap Agree in Spotify. To automatically sync your Shazams to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify, tap OK.

Once you’ve connected Shazam to your Spotify account, you can listen to your Shazams:

  • To listen to the whole song in Spotify, tap Spotify next to a Shazam.
  • Listen to Shazams in the My Shazam Tracks playlist in the Spotify app.

How to Sync Your Shazams to Spotify?

  1. Tap a Shazam from My Music in the Shazam app.
  2. Tap Spotify to open Spotify.
  3. Select the one you want from all available Shazams.
  • Select the correct song and tap Add to playlist.

How to delete Your Shazams?

  1. Open Shazam on your phone. 
  2. On iPhone or iPad, swipe up to My Music from the main Shazam screen. On Android, tap Library in the top left corner of your screen. 
  3. Now tap the Shazams tab. 
  4. You will see all your Shazams here. 
  5. Find the Shazam you want to delete or look for it using the search bar at the top of the screen. 
  6. Once you find it, swipe the song to the left and tap the Delete button. You can also tap the three-dot menu on the right side of the song and select Remove from My Music.
  7. To delete multiple Shazams in bulk, tap Select in the top-right corner. Check the circle next to each song you want to get rid of, and then tap the trash can icon in the bottom-right corner.

How to download music without Spotify Premium?
