Spotify is still the most popular music streaming service, offering music fans more than 70 million soundtracks and two million-plus podcasts. Spotify offers two tiers—a free, ad-supported plan and a few different Premium plans. The free tier allows you to stream the whole catalog on most devices as long as you can bear the ads.

The main thing you get with any Premium plan is an entirely ad free experience. Another best feature of the premium account is that you can download tracks for offline listening in both the mobile and desktop apps.

You can log in Spotify on multiple devices with the same account, but you can only stream on one device at a time. If you have logged in Spotify on multiple devices before but can’t access them, or if you’re planning to stop using Spotify, you can log out of Spotify account from all devices on web. Follow below steps:

How to log out of Spotify everywhere?

  1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/ in your browser.
  2. Log in your account and click Profile – Account.
  3. Scroll down and click Sign out everywhere.

This logs you out of Spotify everywhere you’re logged in, including the mobile, tablet, web player and desktop apps. This doesn’t include partner devices (e.g. speakers, games consoles, and TVs), so for those go to your apps page and choose REMOVE ACCESS.

  1. Visit open.spotify.com in your desktop or mobile browser, log in your Spotify account.
  2. Click your profile icon and choose Account.
  3. Click Manage apps.

Why Spotify Randomly Logs You Out?

If you’ve been randomly logged out of your Spotify account, there are several reasons why this could happen. Perhaps the most common reason is accidentally clearing cookies and other data from your browser. If you do this, you may have to sign in again to use Spotify’s web player.

Another possibility is that you have been using Spotify free abroad for up to 14 days. To use it for longer than 14 days, change your account settings:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE.
  3. Scroll down to Country or region and select your new one from the dropdown list. Your new country or region only shows when you’re actually there.
  4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

How to disable my Spotify account?

Logging out of Spotify everywhere doesn’t mean your account is disabled or closed, you can log back in anytime you want. It seems Spotify has turned off the way to close Spotify account.

If you get an email or error message that your account’s disabled, it’s likely due to one of these reasons.
