How to sync Amazon Music to iTunes?

iTunes is the easiest way to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, and more on your PC.   iTunes includes the iTunes Store, where you can purchase everything you need to be entertained. Your purchases are stored in iCloud and are available on your devices at no additional cost. You can use iTunes to organize all of your songs, including songs purchased from Amazon. How to sync purchased Amazon Music Songs to iTunes?

Besides subscription based music streaming, Amazon Music also has a store for you to purchase songs and albums. Purchased Amazon Music files can be added to iTunes using a computer.

1. Download your purchased songs to your computer first.

To sync purchased Amazon Music Songs to iTunes, open Amazon Music web player or app, click LIBRARY – Music – Purchased. Download the purchased songs and they will automatically played in iTunes.

On Mac(macOS 10.14 and earlier):

  1. In the iTunes app on your Mac, choose File > Add to Library.
  2. Locate a file or folder, then click Open. If you add a folder, all the files it contains are added to your library.

On Windows:

  1. In the iTunes app on your PC, choose File > Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library.
  2. Locate a file or folder, then click Open. If you add a folder, all the files it contains are added to your library.

Once imported, your music appears in your iTunes library. You can also drag a file or folder from the Finder  to the iTunes window to import it.

How to sync songs from Amazon Music Prime/Unlimited/Free to iTunes?

Songs you downloaded from Amazon Music Prime/Unlimited can’t be synced to iTunes since the songs are DRM protected and can only be played within Amazon Music app. Actually you won’t find playable audio files in the download folder.
