Whether you’re streaming songs from Amazon Music Prime/Unlimited or you’ve purchased Amazon Music tracks, you can conveniently download them for offline listening. However, locating the specific storage location for your downloaded Amazon Music files can be a bit challenging. Amazon Music Prime and Amazon Music Unlimited titles are not available for download to computers. You can download these titles to your Amazon Music app for offline playback.
On tablet/phone
Where are the downloaded Amazon Music files located on an iOS device? In reality, locating the precise downloaded Amazon Music files is challenging; only cached data is typically accessible. For iPhones, these caches are stored at “music.amazon.com/showDebugOptions.”
On Mac/Windows
Songs are downloaded to below location, which can be found and changed in Settings.
When you navigate to the location, you won’t find playable songs. This is because downloaded Amazon Music Unlimited and All-Access Playlist songs are only accessible within the Amazon Music app. It is not possible to export songs for use on other apps and devices.
You can download purchased music using the Amazon Music for PC, Mac, Android, iOS app and Web Browser. Purchased songs download location varies on different devices.
On PC and Mac
When you download purchased Amazon Music songs with Amazon Music app for PC and Mac, the songs are downloaded to below location. You can view and change the location in Settings.
On web player
Songs typically save to your browser’s default “Downloads” folder.
On Android
Downloaded music is saved by default to an Amazon Music folder on your Android device.
On iOS
Although you can also download purchased songs with Amazon Music iOS app, you can’t find the downloaded songs on the device. The songs can only be played offline within Amazon Music iOS app.
