Apple Music is one of the best music streaming platforms available. Apple Music time-synced lyrics automatically scroll when viewing a playing song in the Music app. This article teaches you how to view lyrics on Apple Music on different devices.

Note: Lyrics aren’t available for all songs in Apple Music catalog. Also songs from your own library doesn’t have lyrics. If nothing happens when you tap Lyrics icon, then either you’re playing a song that’s not from the Apple Music catalog, or lyrics aren’t available for that song. How to see lyrics and sing in Apple Music on iPhone or iPad?

1. Open the Apple Music app. 
2. Play a song from the Apple Music catalog.
3. At the bottom of the screen, tap the song that’s playing.
4. In the lower-left corner of your screen, tap Lyrics  to turn time-synced lyrics on or off. If time-synced lyrics aren’t available, then you might see the full lyrics for the song instead.

How to see the full lyrics for a song?

1. Tap … icon to the right side of a songs.
2. Choose View Full Lyrics.

How to use Apple Music Sing on your iPhone or iPad?

1. Open the Apple Music app.
2. Play a song from the Apple Music catalog.

3. Select Lyrics  at the bottom of the screen to show or hide time-synced lyrics.

If you cannot find the Lyrics button, it means that time-synced lyrics are not available for that particular song. However, you may still be able to access the full lyrics if they are provided.

If you have an Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) with the latest version of tvOS and don’t see the Mic button, Apple Music Sing might not be available for that song.
