How to download Tidal music to WAV format

TIDAL is the first global music streaming service with high fidelity sound. It has over 80 million tracks, exclusive releases, and tons of interviews and music videos. Tidal now offers 3 subscription options: Free(US only), HiFi and HiFi Plus.

TIDAL HiFi is our entry level HiFi subscription and allows you to listen to music in lossless high fidelity audio.

TIDAL HiFi Plus is the only service that allows you to listen to music in lossless high fidelity audio, Authenticated Master Quality audio, and immersive audio formats all in one place.

Tidal HiFi and HiFi Plus allow you to download songs to your mobile device and play them back anytime, even if you are in Airplane Mode or if you don't have Wi-Fi and would prefer not to use your cellular data plan to stream audio.

There are a few limitations to downloading in Tidal, though. First, you can only do this using a mobile app - you can't download tracks to your computer. Second, you can only download entire albums or playlists, not individual tracks. Third, the downloaded songs can't only be played on the device where they are downloaded with TIDAL app.

However, with Pazu Tidal Converter , you can break all above limitations: download any songs, albums and playlists to M4A/MP3/AAC/FLAC/WAV/AIFF on your Mac and Windows. After downloading, you can play them songs anywhere you want without TIDAL app.

WAV vs MP3

MP3 is an incredibly versatile audio format, but WAV (Waveform Audio File Format, the standard created by Microsoft for Windows devices and PCs but which works well on Mac operating systems too) uses the same audio specifications as CDs' and isn't automatically compressed . WAV files are lossless compared to the lossy MP3 file format, meaning that there is no data loss whatsoever. This also means WAVs are typically larger in file size. It’s why MP3 audio is ideal for smaller devices and streaming, while the WAV format is excellent for studio recordings and audio mastering.

You can easily use Pazu Tidal Converter to download Tidal music to WAV file format for all your sound engineering and audio editing needs.
