Besides its own music catalog, YouTube Music also allows you to upload up to 100,000 songs to your YouTube Music library. Once your music is uploaded, you can use YouTube Music to play your uploaded music as part of your listening experience.
To upload your personal music collection to your YouTube Music library, you will need to open music.youtube.com on a computer. Music uploads cannot be completed in the YouTube Music mobile app.
1. Go to music.youtube.com in your browser, log in your YouTube Music account. Drag your songs to any surface or click your profile icon and choose Upload music.
YouTube Music allows you to upload songs in FLAC, M4A, MP3, OGG, and WMA format.
2. You will see a progress bar indicating your music is uploading.
3. After uploading is finished, you get a confirmation message. Click GO TO LIBRARY.
4. Uploaded songs will be shown under Library – SONGS – Uploads. Your uploaded music may take some time to show up in your library, even after it has been successfully uploaded.
In order to see your uploads in the YouTube Music app, you must be using the YouTube mobile version 3.51+ or newer. Tap Library again on the Library page and choose Uploads.
To search for music you’ve uploaded, click or tap “Uploads” after searching to view uploaded search results.

The ability to upload personal music collection to your YouTube Music library is not a feature that is exclusive to YouTube Music Premium subscribers.
