Wrapped is one of Spotify’s most popular personalization features. It shows you a slideshow or story of the songs and artists you've listened to the most over the past year, what new music you've discovered, and an exact count of how many minutes you spent listening to music. The shareable Spotify Wrapped 2021 cards include: Minutes Listened, Top Songs, Top Song, Audio Aura, Top Genres, Top Podcast, Top Artist, and Top Artists. Spotify’s year-in-review feature kickstarted in 2015 as Your Year in Music and was later rebranded Wrapped in 2017.
Your Spotify Wrapped updates on every December 1, and it is available only in Spotify’s mobile app. In the following parts, you can find how to get Spotify Wrapped. But the much-loved viral round-up actually only counts songs listened to from January 1 to October 31—meaning that nothing listened to in November or December is factored in. "We need to QA the site and we need to finalize assets for Wrapped, all of which takes a while. You throw Thanksgiving into the mix as well and we have even less time," Brendan Codey, associate director for Creator Growth and Programs at Spotify said in 2021.
In order to see your Spotify Wrapped 2021, open up the Spotify app and select Home from the bottom toolbar. The first thing you see on the home screen should be your Spotify Wrapped results. Alternatively, go to spotify.com/wrapped , which should open up the Wrapped screen inside your Spotify for iOS or Android app. It is easy to share on social media or with friends. Tap the Share this story option at any point along the way to send the slide you're on to friends or social media.
