Option 1 With Spotify app

Spotify app is available on

Gear series: Gear Sport, Gear S3, Gear S2, Gear Fit 2 and Gear Fit2 Pro.

Once installed, you can play directly from your wrist, or to another device with Bluetooth or Spotify Connect.

If you are a Premium user, simply swipe right, then tap a song or playlist you want to play. If you are a free user, you can select a song but Spotify will automatically shuffle everything.

Install Spotify

1. Open Galaxy Apps
2. Select Apps
3. Tap on Entertainment
4. Select Spotify
5. Tap on Install.

Listen to Spotify Offline from Samsung Watch

1. Launch Spotify app icon Spotify on your Samsung Watch
2. Allow your watch to sign into your Premium Spotify Account
3. Scroll down the page and select Browse
4. Tap on Charts
5. Choose a Chart you would like to listen to offline
6. Toggle on Download
7. Once a song has been downloaded download complete icon will appear beside it

Song files cannot be exported directly from a PC when the watch is connected to your Galaxy or Android phone. The Galaxy Wearable app and the Music app support MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, and WMA audio files.

1. After you've added your music to your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app.

2. Tap Watch settings, and then tap Manage content or Add content to your watch. Next, tap Add tracks.

3. You can select songs individually, or tap All in the upper left corner to select them all. Tap Done once you have the songs you want.

4. Next, open the Music app on your watch to access the music tracks. It's that simple!

Add music using Gear Music Manager for iOS

If you have at least an iPhone 6 with iOS 12, you can use the Gear Music Manager for a Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Active2, Galaxy Active, Galaxy Watch, Gear Sport, Gear S3, Gear S2, and Gear Fit2 Pro.

1. First, make sure your computer and watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

4. Now, swipe up on the Now playing screen, tap Music Manager at the bottom of the Library, and then tap START.

5. Next, open a web browser on your computer.

6. In the address bar, enter the IP address displayed on your watch.

7. On your watch, confirm the connection, and then you'll be able to manage the music library for your watch using the browser.

8. Once your watch connects, select Add new tracks in the web browser. This will open a file-select dialogue box.

9. Choose the audio file(s) you want to add to your watch, and then select Open.

10. The file(s) will transfer to your watch. When they're finished, tap OK on the web page, and then tap DISCONNECT on your watch.
